Scanner Set-up Guide

SCANNER SET-UP Handheld or Wave style

  1.  Plug the USB cable into device of choice - Laptop/Desktop.
  2. Scanner will self-install – if using a Apple MAC you may need to accept this device in your settings.
  3. To scan a barcode within your dashboard, click in to the “Logit” box on main screen or any open designed search field and scan the desired barcode.

Note: the scanner will only display a result if the barcode (number) is attached to an item, if you scan a barcode with no details it will not register in your dashboard and you will get an error message.
Scanners will read virtually any barcode but if using inside the Logitout Dashboard the barcode must be assigned to an item. Always keep your box with Installation Guide as there will be scanner reset instructions inside – just like any device, sometimes scanners need resetting from time to time.
